We enjoyed the tour for the most part. The Farmacy tour/tasting was our least favorite, it was somewhat educational but seemed like the owner was a bit out of it when she was explaining the different products and everything was super expensive. The last stop was the North Shore General store, chili chicken was really good, however, the next day we went to get the grass fed burger after hearing a lot about it on the food tour but was very disappointed with flavors and quality. Our tour guide Susan was very helpful and really cared about accommodating all the guests.

Highly recommend this tour. Shane was our guide, a fifth generation Hawaiian who has also lived in some super-foodie places and who is passionate about the beautiful tastes that Kauai has to offer. The tastings on the tour were wonderful and the portions generous...the croissant at the bakery was easily as fine as some of the best Parisian pastries. Bring a small tote with you as you are going to want to explore the art walk after the tour, and there are plenty of locally made beautiful items to take home, as well as items during the tour for you to take home and snack on later. We stayed on the north side, and the drive down to Hanapepe was well worth the trip. When you get to the last stop, have an extra Ono Pop for us!!

Very entertaining, educational and delicious. The tour allows guest to interact with local "restaurant" owners and/or chefs (restaurant = food truck, farmers market vendors, pastry farmer's market vendor, restaurant take-away type and full service fine dining). The best part is learning how the entire Kauai economy is supported by these local chefs buying exclusively from local farmers. Don't miss this one! (and the food was fabulous! portions were generous!)
