We have found food tours to be a great way to learn about a city and always try to take one when we arrive someplace new. The first portion of the East Side food tour was held at Kealia Farm, where farmer Adam wowed us with his knowledge of Kauai, its food supply and taro farming. His wife Bonnie served us delicious stew and poi (gotta try it, I guess!). From there, we visited several area restaurants and were able to learn from the owners/chefs at each and sample their delicious offerings. All the food was awesome and we enjoyed every minute of this tour.
