The tour was definitely informative, but the knowledge provided was not something worth $135 per person. For this price, we expected a proper meal in at least one of the six or so businesses we visited. Instead, we received small samples at each location - a spoonful or two of what you could get if you paid full price at the location by visiting normally. This is hardly enough to constitute a meal for the smallest of us on the food tour, let alone the rest of the group.
My recommendation for the tour itself is to lower the price considerably - the information provided isn't something that couldn't be found with some standard Google searches for local cuisine/produced goods. For those who consider this tour, be prepared to drive yourself in your own car and get ready to just sample some bites rather than experience an actual meal.
