A few years later, in January 2016, we moved our 3 barrel homebrew project to East Avondale and upgraded to a 30 barrel brewhouse. Cahaba is currently located in a 51,000 square foot building in the Historical Continental Gin Complex. Our spacious Taproom has quickly become one of Birmingham’s favorite spots. With over 26 taps, our Taproom has awesome Cahaba staples like Blonde, Oka Uba, Pale Ale, and Lager, while also sporting Pilot Batch and Taproom-only offerings.

What a fun, thoughtful, and unique way to experience some amazing breweries in Birmingham, sample some delicious craft beers, learn more about the brewing process, and meet kind and friendly locals (and tourists!) It was our first time in the area and what a perfect introduction to Birmingham’s craft beer scene. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour which highlighted the history of the breweries we visited, a behind-the-scenes look at the beer-making process, and tasting beers we love and discovering new favorites. Thank you, Dustin, for sharing your knowledge, time, and love of Birmingham and craft beer with us! Hope to see you again! Cheers!
