Our daytime historic tour is a story of Pirates and Puritans, Witchcraft and War. We travel around the city of Salem and share the tales of its amazing history. From its humble beginnings as a city founded on the idea of peace for all, to the site of the largest incident of witchcraft hysteria in the modern world, learn how it became one of the biggest shipping ports in America, played host to some of the most famous authors of all time, and learn some of the biggest secrets this city has to offer!

Our daytime walking tour lasts about an hour and forty five minutes, and covers a mile's worth of the downtown area. It is an easy walk, but we suggest comfortable shoes and clothing to match the season. Our tours are unscripted, and can be customized to every group's particular areas of interest!

Our guide was very easy to hear and well versed on the history of Salem. Loved the history without all the witchy hype. All was historically based and I left feeling like I took a course on Salem. It was excellent!!!!!

Very informative, he had a wealth of historical information. We would reccomend the tour. Our guide made sure everyone could hear and see him as we made our way through the town.

The tour info gave us the specific area where to meet the tour guide. He was at the spot early to be able to meet us and know we were in the right spot. Our tour guide was Daniel. He was very interesting to listen to. He knows alot about Salem and made the history interesting to hear about. I would definitely book a tour through black cat tours again
