Had a great tour with Garrett of the Brooklyn Bridge/DUMBO. Lots of great photo opportunities, and the city was amazing at night! We appreciated his insights as a native New Yorker and enjoyed all the historical info. We learned quite a bit and were glad to start out our weekend with this experience! It is quite a bit of walking - so definitely keep that in mind, but well worth it.

Our guide, Katherine, shared her knowledge of the Brooklyn Bridge and the area around it in an interactive and engaging way. Before I joined her tour, the bridge was just a bridge with a great view. It has a great view indeed. But after her deep dive into the history of hardships surrounding its construction, it is now, at least for me, a bridge with great human drama, particularly a story of a family of innovative engineers. She made these technical details, which can often be difficult to follow, fun. I recommend anyone with an interest explore the area’s past and present with her.
