Take a ride on the one of a kind Buffalo Hunt Roller Coaster! This unique shooting gallery coaster is a unique opportunity to be able to tell your friends and family back home that you shot a buffalo while on vacation in South Dakota. Of course its a fake fiberglass buffalo, but you don't have to tell them that if you don't want to.... Soar over the herd of over 20 buffalo and shot at over 40 targets through out the coaster and hit at many targets as you can. Its extremely challenging since you are swinging in the air side to side while trying to aim. When you get off the coaster you will have a score that tells you how you did. It was fun. Lots of swinging back and forth and I didn’t hit any targets but that might be my fault.

Kids liked (not loved) it but it was pretty disappointing for both my husband and I. Lasts maybe a minute to a minute and a half, tops.

Time flies when you are flying around on a roller coaster ride trying to find all the targets to hit!! The ride is actually about 2 1/2 mins. The fact you felt it was so fast tells me you were very focused on getting a high score! For this reason we feel the wristband is always the best bang for your buck so you can sharpen your six shooter skills. I hope you do come back and try us again so you can leave next time with bragging rights to your high score.

Something different to do, if you are bored, but not as fun as I expected. Prior to leaving the main loading area, both my son and I were able to hit the practice targets to calibrate our guns. When we left the loading areas, we did not hit any targets. It was cool to swing around on the coaster for about 2 minutes, but I would not do this again. The video that was taken was fairly cheesy, too. It was just a loop of my son looking bored.

Thank you for the review! I am very sorry you did not get the score that you expected. Many people on their first ride expect to get big scores, and find it is a bit tricker to hit the targets then anticipated. That is what makes this ride fun for many and a challenge to ride again and again. You are also correct the preview of you video is just a quick loop. Once you purchase the video you receive the full duration of the ride. I am sorry your preview caught a point in time where your son was not expressing interest. I do hope you come back again and sharpen your six shooter skills to get a score you can brag about!
