Of our group of five, four signed up for the Aerial Adventure Park and one signed up to be a spectator (yes, you pay a small fee just to watch, because of an insurance requirement).
Everyone had a fantastic time, including the spectator who got to take unlimited photographs of the climbers in action.
Here are a few things to keep in mind:
* The bathrooms are smelly porta-potties. You may want to consider finding a bathroom in town before driving to Captain Zipline. Bring hand sanitizer.
* The aerial course is marked much like a ski resort--with beginner features all the way to double-black diamond. Your guide will assess your readiness to move to the next level. One person in our party was very bummed not to be able to progress to the double black due to his height. The guide felt he would not be able to reach some of the features. Be sure to set expectations with your clan that the guide makes the determination about whether it's safe to progress to another level--and that there is plenty of fun available at all levels.
* Bring plenty of drinking water, sunscreen, and insect repellent. The mosquitoes were bountiful.
Though expensive, this is a fun adventure for all ages, and we plan to return at least once year.
