Our trip was destined to be filled with adventure. Whitewater rafting was already booked, but we had a day open for fun. We found Captain Zipline. The guides are friendly and are extremely helpful especially for those uneasy about ziplining. They were never pushy and kept us laughing throughout the entire experience. We couldn't have asked for a better adventure filled with thrills, laughs, and amazing scenary. If you are looking for fun, this is a must have stop.

Last weekend we decided to take the kids to the mountains from Denver and started to research fun, unique, and educational activities we could all do together. We had been to Salida when the kids were young, but now they were old enough for a real adventure. We discovered the Captain Zipline tours and decided to zip with the captain! The tour took about 2.5 hours and our guide was extremely informative about the geology and all the mountain ranges in the area! When we weren't flying across the canyon at 40 mph, we were meeting other families and taking in the scenery. Ziplining didn't require much skill aside from gently guiding the direction, and we all had a great time! Salida is beautiful and we enjoyed the hiking and rafting while in the area as well. Definitely recommend Captain Zipline for a weekend adventure!!

If you are looking for an adventure and have always wondered what it would be like to soar thru the canyons in Colorado, then Captain Zipline's zip tours are for you. I went with a group from work last fall and we all had a blast. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and will teach you everything you need to know to safely zip across the canyon. Safety is a priority here. That being said, there is a big thrill in gliding thru the air with the canyon floor over a hundred feet below! Also, a big bonus about this particular zipline operation is it's location. It is right outside of Salida, an absolute gem of a town with unique shops, restaurants, and whitewater rafting. It's a little ways off the beaten path, but that makes it all the better. I would recommend to anyone to visit this town and definately try the ziplining adventures that Captain Zipline has to offer!
