We booked a tour this morning and DID NOT receive what we paid for. We didn’t see half of the sites listed in Central Park. Our driver was 17 minutes late, which was ok because he texted and let me know. But we were still standing around for 17 minutes. The tour through Central Park lasted 20 minutes, then he exited onto the street. He was very difficult to understand, but when I asked why we were on the street he said something about things being blocked. There are horse carriages all through the park so I have no idea what he was referring to. So 30 minutes of our tour, that started late, was sitting in traffic on a carriage “ride” through streets with construction. Additionally when I reached out to the tour operator, the driver began calling me incessantly. I did not give the driver my phone number directly, and I think it is very unprofessional that he took it from the companies resources, and proceeded to contact me on his own. I answered only once, and then hung up, as I had no interest in discussing anything with the driver on my very short vacation to New York.
