We offer small group guided guided kayak trips on this pristine mountain lake near Haines, Alaska. Our guides all undergo rigorous in house safety training along with Wilderness First Aid training. In addition our guides have degrees and or in depth knowledge in Zoology, Biology and Natural history and live in the community of Haines. This gives our guides the unique ability to share with you not only the natural beauty of the area but the unique lifestyle we live here in this little fishing town of Haines, at the northern most point of the inside passage.

SEAK Expeditions took us out on Chilkoot Lake for an amazing trip in well-fitted kayaks. Joe is incredibly knowledgable about water sports, the Alaskan outback, and has decades of experience. We were in excellent hands and felt very safe. He's also just an all around easy-going, good guy. We will absolutely use SEAK Expeditions again and would highly recommend them to adventurers of all ages and levels.

I went on a kayak trip with Joe ( the owner) on an amazing trip on Chilkoot lake. He took the time to explain everything and outfitted us with top of the line gear. His caring disposition and the love of Alaska really was evident. His knowledge of the area was a bonus. I highly recommend Joe and SEAK tours if you happen to find yourself in beautiful Haines AK. ♥️ .
