Visit two of New York's most historic attractions on this 4-hour tour of the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island. Enjoy priority boarding on the ferry to Liberty Island and — together with you small group and guide, explore Liberty Island and get a a spectacular view of NYC. Then, visit Ellis Island, where you’ll learn about the vast immigration that took place here between 1892 and 1954.

On this tour you purchase your own ticket, giving you the opportunity to gain access to the pedestal of the Statue of Liberty, something no tour company can provide.

  • Infants and small children can ride in a pram or stroller
  • Service animals allowed
  • Public transportation options are available nearby
  • Suitable for all physical fitness levels
  • The guided portion of the tour is 3.5-4 hours (subject to ferry schedule). However, to fully experience Ellis Island, it is recommended that you spend an additional hour on the island afterward
  • Food and drink is available for purchase on the Statue Ferry, Liberty Island, and Ellis Island
  • Involves a moderate amount of walking
  • Operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately
  • If canceled because of dangerous weather, you will be given the option of an alternative tour date or full refund
  • Photography is allowed on the tour; monopods and tripods are not
  • No weapons of any kind (e.g. pocket knives, pepper spray, Swiss Army knives, etc.) are allowed at the Statue of Liberty. Please leave these items at home
  • Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the tour's designated start time. The tour departs promptly and no refunds will be given for guests who miss the tour due to being late
  • Once the tour begins, if you make the decision to not follow the guide or their instructions, we cannot guarantee we can reunite you with the group.
  • This tour is not wheelchair accessible
  • Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at least 21 years of age.
  • DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE TOUR IF YOU ARE LATE WE WILL MOST LIKELY NOT BE ABLE TO CATCH YOU UP WITH THE GROUP.
  • Your ferry ticket is NOT included with the price of the tour. You will be sent instructions on how to do this.

Our local tour guide, Jacob, was really great. He was knowledgeable and informative. We were blessed to have great weather as well. This is definitely a tour worth taking to get an inside look of what immigrants faced. Colleen A.

A fantastic experience made truly special by our guide, Jacob, who kept us entertained the whole time. We flet really special as there were only the four of us for the trip. The ferry crossing to see Lady Liberty was very smooth and we landed safe and sound on the island. Jacob was a mine of information on the statue and led us through the museum area before giving us time to explore the statue and the island on our own. We had a great tour of Ellis island which Jacob again helped put into context with plenty of detailed explanations and anecdotes.
A great trip which we heartily recommend!
