We've been on quite a few food tours in other cities, including Paris, and I have to say that this is one of the best. One thing that really sets it apart is the quantity of food. You really get ample portions at each stop. We counted it as our lunch and dinner combined, so when you think about it that way, the price is pretty fair. Another thing that makes this particular tour so great is the choice of restaurants included. Many of them are on Richmond's "hot foodie list," including Proper Pie Co (you get a WHOLE savory hand pie!), Sub Rosa Bakery, 8 1/2 Pizza, etc. Every single stop had something totally delicious to savor. And our tour guide, Lindsey, was awesome. We loved that she was low-key, but gave us a little bit of history of the neighborhood and Richmond, and also spent a fair amount of time talking about the food itself, as it IS a food tour, after all. And who doesn't love walking along brick sidewalks in historic neighborhoods on a beautiful day?
