Joining Discover Richmond Tours means exploring Church Hill in a unique way. You will sample delicious food and snacks from up to 5 different restaurants, cafes, and bakeries, possibly including wood-fired pastries, classic Richmond comfort food, authentic Ethiopian Fare, and more! You’ll learn about the birthplace of Richmond and it’s heroes, and hear how our partner merchants got their start. But most of all, we’ll make sure you have fun doing it.

Be sure to bring water and comfortable shoes – we’ll be standing at most of our stops, and we’ll be in and out too quickly for water and other beverages to be served.

We did a Churchill Food tour with Kelsy in late August. It was a great way to see the streets of the neighborhood and we enjoyed a nice variety of foods! We were the only ones on the tour that day and Kelsy did a great job of making it enjoyable even with the super hot and humid conditions that day!

Our tour guide Kelsey was great and the food was amazing! We had an introverted group of nine total on our tour. Kelsey was super friendly yet respected everyone's space. My daughter and I really enjoyed our food tour. The only drawback was that most of the tour was outdoors with no place to sit. Plus it was a little hot and humid.

One thing I'd like to note - please consider booking directly with us next time, rather than through a third-party - you'll find a lot more relevant info on our website, including that most of our tour is outside due to COVID. It wouldn't have changed your experience, but at least it would not have been a surprise! I hope you'll visit another part of Richmond with us! - Brian
