The highlight of your vacation! This a 17-foot self-bailing raft that provides a fun splashy ride while providing enough stability to handle the Snakes Class bigger rapids with ease, and allowing you to feel safe while you enjoy the experience. You'll paddle through the legendary Snake River Rapids, including Lunch Counter, Big Kahuna, Champagne and Ropes. Rafts launch at West Table and take out at Sheep Gulch in the Snake River Canyon. It's 8 miles of Class II and III whitewater interspersed with calm stretches, even some opportunities to swim. Trips take 3 1/2 to 4 hours round-trip from our office at 180 Powderhorn Ln in Jackson. Whitewater rafting with Lewis & Clark is the genuine interactive outdoor adventure you came to Jackson Hole to experience. Most of our customers are first-timers and it's suitable for ages 6+. If you're looking for the max in adventure check out Lewis & Clark's small boat, smallest raft on the Snake. Private rafts are available, call to book.

Great understanding of the group, traveling with kids and safety was awesome. The guide was telling us what to expect and kept us enjoying buf safe.

Parker was our guide for scenic float which was great saw 3 bald eagles! Had lunch on island and then disembarked and had hour break before white water. joe was our instructor very fun but totally safety minded. Impressed he picked 3-4 people with life jacket on incorrectly also a guide in own raft goes ahead to check and help if needed. Both guides knew tons animals and river as well as area! All the 4 teenagers loved it as well as myself I paddle then switch with my 15 yr old! Class 1-3 rapids wet and totally exhilarating! I was told this is last family owned rafting place in Jackson Hole that’s very sad! We try to frequent family owned whenever possible! Everyone was great from check in to being patient as my 12 yr old took forever to get into wet suit! Best time on our vacation !

This company was top notch from beginning to end. First, it started with great customer service before our trip began. I called and booked the trip 6 months in advance because that’s just what I do. The person that I talked to was a male voice but I didn’t catch his name. He was super nice and helpful. The company also sent us email reminders and tips the week of the trip to help. When we arrived we were greeted by an amazing and helpful staff, I wish I could name them all but that would be impossible. This company offers the use of wetsuits and I highly recommend them. Our trip was in June and the water temp was 42 degrees but with some great sunny weather and the wetsuits, we had an amazing trip. Our guide was Luke and I highly recommend him. He was comical but yet very helpful and safety aware. I would never dream of doing this trip down the white water without an experienced guide like him. The water was awesome and we even saw a bald eagle and an osprey in a little fight! One of the things that impressed me the most about Lewis and Clark was the amount of safety precautions they took. We had an extra floater on our trip and another person stationed down the river in a slightly more dangerous area. I had no idea they would have hired all of those extra people just in case of an accident. Wow and thank you! I highly recommend this trip and company!
