Established in 1999, Encounters With Dolphins has been safely providing guests the opportunity to view dolphins, learn about Clearwater and enjoy the sand and sun on Compass Island and maybe even take a dip on the island! We are a small business founded on the principal of wanting our guests to have the same experiences we would want to have on our own vacation. We’re also proud of the fact that almost all of our staff are either marine biologist, conservationist or experts in marine wildlife. All of us work tirelessly to ensure that all of our customers have an enjoyable and relaxing time with us!

I've been on multiple dolphin boat rides out in Clearwater, when our family goes on vacation it's something they always look forward to seeing. I chose and paid for this one 2 weeks in advance. well this experience was absolutely the worst. First of all as were all getting ready to leave to get on the boat they called and cancelled asking us if we could reschedule for the next day at 11, due to "high sails". so after seeing the kids upset, we decided to take the kids fishing and as were getting the bait, the dolphin sighting boats were ALL still sailing. so to guarantee the experience we were looking for we book another ride with a different company and had a great time but it's crazy we seen the boat we were supposed to be on out in the water after they just cancelled on us. But what's more disappointing the next day right before were about to leave for the boat ride that was rescheduled they cancelled again!! Never will I ever book with this company again.They cancel last minute 2x with no valid reason and leave your kids disappointed.
