I treated two of my nieces to this half-day outing. It was fabulous! We visited the Vista House, Latourelle Falls, Multnomah Falls, Horsetail Falls, and the fish hatchery. Let me start from the beginning. I have a temporary foot disability. Wildwood Adventures worked with me to get me on the right vehicle/tour to be able to bring my knee scooter. The Mercedes van was comfy, and we were a manageable 9 guests (my party: 3). Our guide Ash was terrific and a wealth of information about the area. Exceedingly pleasant and helpful. She even fetched my scooter for me at the hatchery when I determined I could not do all the walking. Now about the nature: the Columbia Gorge is beyond beautiful. Amazing waterfalls and vistas. The hatchery was tres cool also: a human and fish collaboration. The gorge is something of an unsung national treasure. I would recommend anyone to visit it. For the money, it was a most excellent excursion. A great way to cover alot of territory without the hassle of driving and trying to park at crowded vistas. When I visit my niece in Portland again, I will be up for the full-day trip or something else Wildwood offers. They are an excellent company.
