This tour is totally customizable – you choose the length of the tour, what time you want to be picked up, and what you want to see.

I love San Francisco and have spent 20 years studying and exploring the city. I’ll work with you to plan your tour so you can see the famous sites and the hidden gems other tours can't go to or don't know about. I’ve designed this to be the type of tour I would take if I visited San Francisco, but where you go is up to you. I make suggestions along the way, but how long you spend at any site is up to you. You're never rushed, and never have to wait for other people. It's all about you!

Plus, it's fun! In the convertible MINI Cooper, you see everything up close and personal as we drive along.

I love showing guests San Francisco, and talking about the history and culture of this unique and special city.

Call it Postcard Row, the Painted Ladies, or the Full House houses, everyone loves seeing this site in person. And if you want to get out and take a picture, you can. As with all locations, if you want to get out is up to you.

Presidio of San Francisco

Drive through this former Army base turned national park. Stop and see the Yoda statue if you want.

North Beach

Learn the history and culture of this neighborhood that is a favorite of locals and visitors alike.

Lombard Street

If the time is right and there isn't too much traffic (usually weekend and holiday afternoons) we drive down the famous crooked st. If we can't drive down, we can at least drive by, and get out for photos if you want to.

Chinatown

Drive through this neighborhood, and learn about its history and culture. As I talk about the architecture, you can look up an see it as we drive through in the convertible MINI Cooper.

Haight-Ashbury

Drive down the street made famous in the 1960's, and learn why the music and culture made resonated around the world.

Golden Gate Park

Drive through the park, see the museums and the Japanese Tea garden. Guests enjoy driving through and learning the history of this urban garden created on top of 1,017 acres of sand. If open, there is an opportunity to go into the observation tower of the DeYoung museum.

Twin Peaks

Experience a spectacular view of the entire city, the Bay, and if the weather is clear, bridges as far south as Silicon Valley and up near the wine country.

16 Avenue Tiled Steps

The 16th Ave Tiled steps are only part of what you can see. I can show you a lesser known but equally as impressive tiled staircase, and what these staircases looked like before they were transformed into this urban art piece.

We met up with Reed and his cute mini cooper convertible after our morning tour of Alcatraz. It was a big hard getting in and out as we are both long legged but it got easier and easier as the afternoon wore on. Reed has a wealth of information on all things San Francisco. We hope to visit with him again.

I’m late writing this but I just want to thank Reed for the amazing tour after our wedding at San Francisco City Hall. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble and he went out of his way to show us a beautiful city that he clearly loves. If you want to see the real SF in comfort and get all the best pictures then you should do this tour. It made our wedding day really special and is something we will remember forever. Also, the information that he gave us about the city was super helpful to plan other activities. Thanks so much!

We had the most amazing tour around the wonderful San Francisco. It was a windy but dry day so we still had the roof down and kept warm with the blankets provided by Reed. It was a very special and individual tour which we were thoroughly happy with and one which has given us beautiful memories from our holiday in SF. We chose a 2 hour tour and asked for a general overview of the city but especially wanted to see the Golden Gate Bridge, a drive down the fabulous Lombard Street and also the affluent areas of the city. Reed was a true professional. Knowledgeable, informative and friendly all rolled into one! We would highly recommend this experience to anyone thinking of taking a private tour in the Mini convertible because you won’t be disappointed! A big thanks to Reed!
