This 4.5 hour Daufuskie Island trip provides a glimpse into a fascinating chapter of Lowcountry history on the undeveloped side of the island. Learn the rich history of the Native Americans, European settlers, the cotton trade, and the Gullah culture. We encourage you to wear weather-appropriate clothing and bring water, snacks, and sunscreen.

Had a wonderful time with Capt. Pete on this tour. He was super knowledgeable and made the whole experience so interesting. We saw a lot of dolphins on our way to and from the island which was a bonus!

Captain Pete was SUPER! He gave us the rich history and culture of Daufuskie Island and its people. We stopped at various establishments including Bloody Point Lighthouse, First Union African Baptist Church and several homesteads of historic value. A tour guide is a must, we would not been able to enjoy the tour as much on our own. Our boat ride to and from Daufuskie Island, Captain Pete, stopped to point out dolphins, eagles and points of interest. I would definitely recommend this tour.
