This tour was just so so. We started off in a packed van. I don’t think anyone was comfortable, and it was not a van that provided good visibility, and I was seated right by the window. Part of the tour is driving by sites, but you couldn’t see them, and the poor visibility was not due to the rain. My seatbelt was broken which was a little distressing and the broken part kept jabbing the side of my thigh. This was a night time tour, but when we exited the van, our driver never turned on the interior lights. It was clearly precarious fumbling to get out in the dark. People had to use their cell phone flashlights. He was a nice enough guy, but he never exited the van or helped people out. He would park, point us in the direction of the monument, and tell us to be back at a particular time. Maybe he was tired? He tried to keep the momentum going by interspersing jokes throughout, but it was kind of a dull night. It was raining, and he did drop us off at our various hotels which was highly appreciated. Overall, it was nice to see the sites, but we didn’t feel it was well organized and nor did we get a whole lot out of it.
