This 7-hour tour begins with a trip to Waterbury and Stowe, where we will visit a number of popular local attractions. Treat your taste buds at the Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream Factory and Cold Hollow Cider Mill, then visit the historic Trapp Family Lodge — the same Von Trapp family that inspired The Sound of Music. Our Vermont tours visit only the most interesting locations, such as a scenic drive to the top of Smugglers’ Notch State Park. You will also have a chance to explore Stowe village.

Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by a welcome sign that reads “The Trapp Family invites you to share a little of Austria, a lot of Vermont.”

Finally, our last visit of the day will be in downtown Stowe. With a population of just over 4,300 people, this village is home to many events throughout the Summer, including a hot air balloon festival and many different arts and crafts shows. Here you will find many local artisan shops featuring art, jewelry, clothing, gifts, and number of award-winning specialty foods. There is even a Ski and Snowboard Museum, of interest to those who enjoy downhill Winter sports.

Natalia was the best tour guide anyone could ever ask for!!! We enjoyed every minute of this tour and learned SO much about Vermont overall and all of the places we visited. It was our son’s birthday trip and she made sure to make it special for him! We would definitely recommend taking a tour with Natalia!
