Denali Experience Flightseeing Tour from Talkeetna

This tour takes you within 6 miles of Denali's north summit (19,470 ft.) and south summit (20,320 ft.). You will enter an ancient world of rugged high mountain peaks, towering snow-capped mountains and glacier-filled valleys and explore the south and east faces of Denali. The regular flightseeing tour is 1 hour, or choose the glacier landing option for a 1.5 hour tour including a landing atop a glacier. This is truly a once in a lifetime experience you will not forget.

Wow! This flightseeing experience was simply amazing! The rugged beauty of Denali and the Alaskan Range is quite striking when you are flying so close to it. Our pilot, Mike, was extremely competent and knowledgeable. Although I had not previously flown in a small plane, I was not at all nervous with him in the cockpit. Landing on the glacier and spending some time experiencing the grandeur was incredible.

If you're looking for a truly unique, one of a kind experience. Then look no further then K2. From the beautiful drive to downtown Talkeetna staring down Denali, to getting geared up for the Glacier landing, their planes are nicely restored, our pilot was experienced and knowledgeable. From start to finish the experience was totally worth the cost.

We were initially scheduled for the longer flight with a glacier landing. Weather did not cooperate. When we arrived the staff was very apologetic and switched us to shorter flight. Equipment was in good shape. The pilot was very informative and views were terrific.
