We have gone to Disneyland every year for the past 13 years. I never thought I would get sick of Disneyland or the Disneyland theme parks. This year lost its magic. The lightning lane pass is very expensive and for the value it is not worth it. Instead of a nice day with the family with memorable experiences, the new lightning lane pass is all about rushing to the next attraction. It does not cover all the most popular rides. My complaint is it gives you a reservation time, which could be hours out and you can only hold one lightning lane pass at a time, so by the time you’re done with a ride, the next ride that you could reserve is hours out. You used to be able to sign up for the next lightning lane pass after you completed the previous one but now it changes where you can’t do that. Additionally, our daughter who has a rare bone disease and has metal plates in her legs from surgeries, was in tears at the end of the day because of rushing to each ride and we ended up leaving early. a ticket is almost $200 a person plus paying for the lightening lane passes on top of that. There is a lady there that was visiting. This is her first time in the park and she was willing to pay $126 for additional lightning lane passes for the additional rides , the most popular. I don’t mind pain and extra pass to help avoid the lines. In the past they had Max pass, which was $10 and have all the rides and you can use them more than ones. I would even be willing to pay $20 slight in the pass if it had all the rides and the reservations were different than what this one was. This was ridiculous. The pass should be included for all the rides, and you should be able to return once you use the previous pass. Bring back the benefits of pass. Bring back the happy day at the park. Bring back the shows. Bring back characters freely walking in the park. We used to come every year but now next year we’re gonna end up going to SeaWorld or other locations. We might come back in a couple years, but this was a very disappointing visit.
