After spending the day at the California Adventure Park and enjoying the first day of the annual Food & Wine festival, quirks and all since it was day 1, the Disneyland Park is an abysmal comparison! We booked Lightening passes at both parks and although helped us get fast passes for some rides, the hours of availability are lacking to where you can go hours without using it. The line management at the Disneyland Park was pathetic where we waited 1.5-2 hours for rides posted as 30 minutes. The attendants were useless at Space Mountain, Snow White and Spider-Man Web ride at the other park. Huge difference on how poorly these rides were managed by the knuckleheads working them…that’s time we were robbed from and not very magical at all. Then to top it off was the $170 dollars we wasted on the Tomorrowland Skyline Terrace dinner and seating for the evening show. What a mess to then be served a lunchable in a bento box, cold, disgusting kids sandwich and ding dongs for $170 the to have the show canceled so what did we pay for. At least have a buffet or 4 course dinner like you get in FL with any of the dinner show packages. Some champagne would be nice too, Disney to too dry compared to the other park, although we don’t hundreds on drinks, they were quite weak…stop selling this atrocity and revamp all your dining. Florida Disney World dining is how Disney earned its food rep, California is an insult to Disney dining. The cast members in CA are awful too. Raymond at Skyjumpers was nice, as was one black male cashier at the Tea rose and a cashier at the Space Trader store, Asia was useless. Need to bring in some Disney Florida trainers to train across all CA parks. Truly not Disney like at all. Eli at Skyline tried to make it a memorable experience but there was not enough he could to do affect the dinner or lack of show. Plus we came early to get a good table and were told no one was being seated there so we got a table we had to share with another 2 large people so we barely fit then the tables I wanted were all given to other guests!!! Offered blankets early on but never brought them where these two girls had 4 blankets!
