December 2023 my family and I excitedly had booked and planned a trip to Disneyland along with my cousin and his children.
We drove many miles from Canada , with our first day in Disneyland being December 16th , 2023. As we arrived to the entrance with our passes in hand and our children beyond excited , the gentlemen taking our picture at the gate to set us up for the week had taken and saved the wrong picture for members in my party . I had explained to him that our little man ( 2 years of age did not have a ticket due to his age ) . The cast member staff became argumentative with my husband and I , as he had by error took a picture of our little guy and placed it under my husband’s ticket. This didn’t allow the cast member to take my husband’s picture. The cast member placed blame on my husband and I for not communicating the age of our little man , although we did . This delayed our entrance time significantly, as we had to get another cast member to resolve this situation and wait aside for one to come available . Upon successful entrance , we were met with significant line ups which increased my daughter’s anxiety and were no successful on visiting many attractions on that date .
Dec17th, 2023, we were successful with arriving to the park . The crowd was quieter during the morning . I had spoken to a cast member about my daughter’s diagnosis and was accommodated with a DAS pass , additionally the cast member assisted me with paying and setting up lightening lane, as the app was no allowing me to purchase and set this up. I was no successful in using the lightening pass , as it wasn’t allowing me to book times . I therefore was able to utilize the DAS pass , but still had to get creative due to increased crowds and line ups . Later during the evening we had set up a character meal at goofy’s kitchen, the whole meal we had one character join our family which was extremely disappointing . As well I was unable to eat majority of the foods due to my severe allergies to coconut, palm oil , margarine and vegetable oil .

Line ups were very long and crowds big , my daughter struggled a lot with this.
December 19th , 2023
Day was started later due to my daughter feeling overwhelmed , which resulted in us driving and paying for preferred parking . We went in the star wars ride ( where you help push buttons or drive the ship )y daughter’s anxiety increased significantly. A staff member told her to stop freaking out it’s a ride . I tried to explain to the cast member she struggles with regulation , the cast member disregarded this . My daughter was in panic the entire time , crying and in extreme distress. We went to the storyteller cafe later that day for dinner and the service was absent , we had to continue asking for drinks and ketchup /sauces .
December 20th
This day crowds were big , line ups long . We had gone to a shop to have ornaments made in Disneyland . While waiting we took the kids to the candy store and did some walking around . It rained so hard that the roads in Disney were flooding , while in the candy store a staff member yells “ everyone needs to leave , we are being evacuated “. At this point people were panicking , I had almost lost my kids , my daughter with a disability was in severe distress . We tried to make it to a dryer/ less crowded area to re group . Everyone was soaked and shivering , we went to grab the ornaments and leave . The ornaments were done extremely poorly , I spoke to a manager and she refunded the font and I was left with two poor looking ornaments . My family went back to get the car and head to the hotel. I instead went to city hall to speak with a cast member .Being extremely upset I asked to speak to a manager , the manager was a taller gentlemen , mask on , dirty blonde hair . He said there was nothing he was willing to do. I asked to speak to his manager and he became very defensive and said one would not be available for a while . I offered to wait in a seat for one . At that point the supervisor informed me he would be calling security if I did not leave .I was in complete shock , I explained I was willing to wait for a manager . I left extremely upset and defeated at this point , with being threatened by a cast member , my ornaments , my kids having their last day at Disney ruined and our overall experience . I went over to California adventure and spoke with a supervisor over there , she was melt than amazing and had my ornaments fixed immediately. She encouraged me to write to you guys and said she would documents the encounter . I am writing now , as I’ve been extremely shoo ken from our experience as has my family .
