Silver Springs State Park

Where can you kayak or paddleboard and see monkeys, manatees and turtles all on the same day? On our Silver Springs Adventure. We paddle the Fort King paddle trail through lush forest and gorgeous turquoise waters to the spring head. Silver Spring was Florida's first tourist attraction which dates to the 1870s. We'll stop along the way to observe wildlife and make new friendships. The pictures here are stunning!

We saw a ton of manatees and went out on a very easy kyack ride. Bob and guy our guides were amazing. They got us in all the right spots to see the manatee we got to see pods of them. Saw a huge gator and our kids had a blast the guide was very informative and insanely patient with us not being great at kayaking.

The guides take photos that are made available for download at no charge, which is really nice. Additionally, our guide, Guy, was knowledgeable, fun, and funny.

I wouldn’t use Epic, they were not organized and our group was wayyy to large. We missed the “Guided” portion of the trip. Also, “clear” bottom kayak was not accurate. The kayaks were horribly scratched; therefore, they we’re far from clear.

We are sorry to hear that we did not meet your expectations. Silver Springs State Park is resurfacing their main parking lot and it has caused confusion for our guides and guests. Hopefully they get it completed quickly. Thank you for letting us know about your kayak. We will ask the guides at this location to assess which kayak you had and have it replaced with a good one. Thank you for making us aware of this.
