Wow, what a great tour. A Little Local Flavor more than delivered a unique, enjoyable, fall in love with Nashville day.
Our tour included four yummy tasty treats ( and two drinks) at independently owned venues. Hot Chicken Tocos & Spiked Strawberry Lemonade at Cerveza Jacks accompanied by local musician was a big hit. This expertly crafted walking tour included unique stories told on the steps of the beautiful Symphony Building, while gazing at the gorgeous Nashville skyline. A stop at The Ryman was informative, such a slice of American music history.
The visit to the historic Woolworths on 5th was so moving. This Woolworth is the location of the 1960 lunch counter sit in to end racial segregation. We had an amazing peanut butter chocolate pie garnished with bananas & bacon while enjoying this authenticity refurbished space. Our professional, knowledgeable, and captivating tour guide Christine ended our day in the Printer’s Row area, at the Bourbon St. Blues & Boogie Bar. What a great unique neighborhood. We gobbled up fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese & hot pepper jam, Gumbo, beer, and some live Blues.
Everyone in our group was so impressed with our tour. Nashville is a fabulous city, clean, safe, beautiful, cultural, and historical. We all can’t wait to visit again, sure to take another tour with A Little Local Flavor when we do.
