Ride in style from the Redondo Beach Pier to the Santa Monica Pier and back on a single charge! This is a 4-Hour Self Guided e-bike tour. Enjoy stops in Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach or Venice Beach along the way. Other e-bike rental durations are available for the self-guided tour. Guided tours are available on Saturdays.

Our friendly team will give you suggestions on where to visit up and down the coast along the beach bike path on your self-guided tour. Come to our shop at the top level of the Redondo Beach Pier parking structure. There is plenty of parking with flexible time limits and we are right on the beach bike path.

You will receive an orientation to the electric bike to make sure you are comfortable. Our e-bikes are comfortable, high-quality beach cruisers built by the Electric Bike Company. Helmets, locks are included. Liability waiver required prior to riding.

Redondo Beach Pier

Start and end your self-guided tour with a visit around the Redondo Pier and Harbor areas. Our shop is located in Building 129 at the Pier Plaza. You can enjoy the pier, boardwalk and harbor before and after your ride. One of the few wooden piers on the California coast features restaurants and shops and activities such as fishing, whale watching, sunset cruises, paddling and e-biking. You'll find multiple eateries offering great food and drinks and live music on the weekends.

Amazing view from the Point Vicente Lighthouse! With the e-bike easy to reach and you can do some walking around this area.

48 hours in Redondo! The weather was dry and sunny we found E-bike on the Pier, we hired two bikes for 2hours. Full instructions given by friendly knowledgeable staff, easy to ride (even for me who hadn’t ridden a bike since I was a child!!!) Really enjoyable couple of hours, great scenery and perfect weather. We rode south from Redondo to Hermosa on to Manhattan Beach and down as far as Palos Verdes plenty of places to stop and eat/drink along the way. Surfers were out, waves looked great and lots of volley ball areas (competition being set up) all said a really great couple of hours with the wind in your hair, sun on your face and the fresh sea air!

We paid for the 4 hour tour based on the guide telling us that would be enough time to get to Venice beach and explore and come back. Well that was true. We had about 20 mins in Venice and so barely had time to look around. When we got back and mentioned we had to turn right back around when we got there he said yup you needed the 6 hour tour to actually have time to check it out. That would have been nice to know before especially as the 6 hour ride wasn't much more. We would have happily paid the extra to see Venice properly.

Hi! Thank you for choosing our e-bike rental and for the feedback. Our team gives a full orientation prior to the ride and can modify your booking to accommodate your travel desires. You are always welcome to contact us via phone or email prior to your reservation to confirm any details and whenever possible you can extend the duration of the e-bike rental. Many of our guests are happy with the 4 hour rental depending on how long they want to explore the sights along the way. Please call when you come back to town and we are happy to make sure you are set up on the right e-bike ride for you. We are open until sunset, which is approximately 5 pm in winter and 8 pm in the summer.
