This was an incredible experience from a smooth booking and check-in process to the organized way drop off and pickups are handled, and of course the unforgettable hiking and canyoneering experience with breathtaking views. It was a bit more intense than I thought it was going to be- both the difficulty level of the hikes, and the height of the rappels. I would say that some athletic ability and/or a moderate to high fitness ability would be helpful. Our guide Micah made sure we understood how to use the equipment and techniques for a safe experience. It was clear that he was comfortable and knew what he was doing, and he answered all my questions (safety, nature, Zion facts, etc.). Our group was only 4 people plus Micah, so it felt like we got a personalized experience and could go at our own pace, plus it was fun getting to know the other couple we were with. I would highly recommend East Zion Adventures and Micah as a guide. I can tell it’s a well-run operation and this trip was well worth the money.
