We found the entrance with no problem. No crowds so no lines. Everyone there was friendly and helpful. Museum features were informative and well done. Views were spectacular both on 86th and 102nd floors. Glad to have had the experience.

Before we arrived in NYC we were undecided on which skyscraper to go to for views. We settled on the Empire State Building and I am so happy we did. We went at around 7:30pm and were able to get a ticket without pre-booking. We weren’t sure about paying extra for peak time but it was absolutely worth every penny. The pre-amble before heading up is interesting and informative with some fun interactive displays. When we got to the top we got to see NYC in all its glory in daylight, sunset and dark. It was absolutely stunning and almost brought me to tears. This really was a highlight of our trip.

19th April at 8.30pm. Ever so rude security guy yelling in my face whilst I was doing as I was asked spoilt my experience completely so much so I wouldn’t pose for an overpriced photo. He really needs a new job !! Good at the top but apart from the view there was nothing else at that level. Some random music and a few seats but no bar and no access to any other floors at this time. Iconic viewing area which we really enjoyed. Staff member sorting the lifts down was so lovely though. What is it with NYC security staff? so aggressive!
