It had been 10+ years since I had visited Everglades Holiday Park. It was amazing just as I remembered. We traveled with our 2 y/o. We seen alligators on the airboat and she enjoyed the gator show and other exhibits. Well worth the money and trip!!

We booked this as it was recommended through our south beach hotel. Our tour included pick up from hotel. The driver who picked up us was rude. He was complaining about traffic, tourists, generally negative about everything. He did relay a lot of good information about landmarks on the way but we also found some of his information to be incorrect. The drive took over an hour each way because we picked up 10 people. We should have done lift to the park and bought the tickets directly. Our boat driver had a better attitude. He seemed to try, but could not find any alligators. We did see various birds and wildlife, but no alligators. I am not giving this a low score because of failure to see alligators. The alligator show was lame. It was one guy and he seemed tired. The photos were nice and I got mine printed on the spot. Some people behind us didn’t and we’re told to go to an internet site to print later. They were disappointed, understandably. At the end of the tour, I asked for my credit card receipt and was told that I couldn’t get one. I asked for the total and he said it was ticket price plus 7 percent for using a card. No one had told me that and he said the hotel should have told me. I called the hotel on the spot to clear this up and they did not know anything about a 7 percent charge. The driver wanted to argue with me I. Front of the group and finally said he would pay it out of his own pocket. My credit card was charged correctly. All in all, I wish I would have spent my day with another company.

Thank you for taking the time to leave behind this honest review as we are deeply saddened to hear about your experience at our park and apologize for all inconveniences. It is never our intention to upset our guests, and to know that your expectations for the airboat tour and the show were not met are truly upsetting. It truly is a 50/50 chance, however, once it comes to spotting some of our gators out on the tour as they are still wild animals. We had done this tour two years ago with adult friends. It was very good, that's why we chose this location to take our grandsons while in Ft. Lauderdale. Our guide was very entertaining and good. He tried his best to find gators on the tour. Our tour was longer because he was looking, we finally did find a small one. I know you can't always find them, and that was ok. But the gator show afterwards was poor. Chris did the show. It was very short, not as informative as previously experienced and was all about 'tips'. My grandsons used to watch 'Gator Boys" on TV, so they were excited. Previously, the show was done in an area out back and you had to stand. They now have bleachers and a 'show area'. Not impressed with the changes.
