Getting up close to an alligator... without the fence or plexiglass! The ride was exciting and I just love this nature tour.

To be fair this is the only airboat alligator tour we've ever done but from all the ones that came up, we picked this one based on reviews, prices and activities and we were not disappointed. FIRST AND FOREMOST, anytime you go watch live animals in their habitat it is up to mother nature and the animals to perform. We were blessed....saw a total of 5 gators in the 60min airboat ride. ONE one and sunbathing, one with its head peaking out and one actually swimming around boat. The other 2 were partials. Also saw turtles and birds. We would have been content with just the boat ride. They go fast twice and the rest troll around looking for gators. TOUR GUIDE WAS GREAT. Includes in package was a show afterwards, a photo, and a small walk around to see other gators. Show was funny. We added the Animal Encounters for our 3 sons, 21, 17 and 14 and it did not disappoint. A personal session. Where they got to hold snakes, turtles, alligators, opposom and lizard. Each time they also took photos which you also get at the end. That experience lasted about 45mins. You do not need reservations but I'd get there early. We arrived around 10am and spent about 2.5hrs there. Boats leave every 20mins. We recommend BUT REMEMBER, the gators get a vote. You have to accept that and pray you are as fortunate as we were.

We purchased our tickets (3) online for a 60 minute airboat ride and that was to include 2 free group photos in the price. The airboat ride itself was great. However it was actually 34 min from start to finish for our boat....no where near 60. I do believe the other boat tours were actually closer to 60 minutes and it was just our particular boat/captain. We really enjoyed the alligator show after the airboat ride but the guy putting it on spoke SO fast he was hard to understand at times! Then at the end we went to get our photos which our tickets clearly stated we should get 2 group photos free included in our price and we were told we we had to pay another $20 per photo!
