A fun good day out. Gliding over the Everglades was amazing. Thought we would have the more powerful open Air boat but it was the roofed boat. Did a couple of high speed runs but would have liked more or longer runs. We managed to see 6-8 alligators, up close to the boat as well. The commentary was a bit hard to hear over the boat noise. After the boat ride there was an entertaining alligator show that was also worth while. Easy transport from downtown Miami out to the tour.

I thought the coach that took us was very tired and old. The driver I couldn’t praise enough, we did breakdown on the way but it was repaired in around an hour, he was extremely helpful and I was dropped off at my hotel. The actual trip on the boat was interesting and I saw alligators and other wildlife, but as I am hard of hearing I couldn’t hear the commentary very well ( not their fault). That also applied to the talk and presentation about the the alligators, I wasn’t entirely comfortable with the presenter grappling with a gator and prising it’s jaws open etc. I am not qualified to say whether he was being cruel or not but I felt uncomfortable.

Started poorly with a chaotic check in as no guide was present to direct us to the coach and we had to ask each coach driver which was our correct coach. When we arrived the airboat lasted 45 mins and we were consistently told the best time of year to come is the winter months. The alligator show lasted 20 mins.
