Recently when visiting Seattle my husband, cousins and I decided to go on a brewery tour. The only date that worked for us was a Monday, and Seattle Brewery Walking Tours (SBWT) worked with us and we were able to go on the Fisherman's Terminal Tour. SBWT is headed up by a man named Tim, and he leads all of the tours. We met at Urban Family Brewing, and Tim gave us bags with taster glasses and papers with useful beer-related info. Tim went in and got us each a flight of 4 beers, and we worked our way through tasting each one and talking a bit about the history of each type of beer as well as the history of the brewery. At Figurehead Brewery, we were able to see some of the equipment and ingredients used in the beer making process, and at Rooftop bar, we met the owner and spoke with him about how he got started. Tim is pleasant, easy to talk to, and very knowledgable about beer. He seems to have a good rapport with the breweries and gives a great tour! We tasted 4 beers at each venue and it took 3-4 hrs. Very Enjoyable!
