Enjoy this 2-hour guided adventure on a double-deck power catamaran to watch the whales in their natural habitat. Depending on the whales’ behavior during your whale watching trip, you may see the whales slapping the surface with pectoral fins (their very long side fins), flukes (the tail), the peduncle (the strong muscles attaching the tail to the rest of the body) and the breach, this is when the whale rises completely out of the water and crashes down again.

We saw a ton of whales and got great pictures. The weather was perfect. Crew an boat was great! This is a perfect activity for all ages.

I had the most incredible experience whale watching in Maui! From start to finish, it was truly magical. We set sail on a double decker catamaran with a knowledgeable and passionate crew who made the trip even more enjoyable. As soon as we got out on the water, we were greeted by the sight of humpback whales breaching, tail-slapping, and playing in the distance. The crew provided fascinating insights into the whales' behavior and the conservation efforts to protect them. The weather was perfect—sunny with just the right amount of breeze. It was amazing to witness these majestic creatures up close, and I felt like I was in the middle of nature's wonderland. The highlight of the tour was when we saw a mother and her calf swimming together—what a beautiful and unforgettable sight. I highly recommend this whale watching experience to anyone visiting Maui. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to witness the incredible migration of humpback whales and learn about them from passionate experts. I’ll definitely be back next season!
