Explore the natural wonders of Molokini Crater, a volcanic islet 3 miles (4.8 km) off the coast of Maui, on this snorkeling tour from Maalaea. Surrounded by clear tropical waters, this extinct cone is home to many species of marine life, such as fish, sea urchins, sharks, manta rays, and coral. Molokini is a marine preserve, meaning nothing can be disturbed, keeping the island and underwater environment pristine. You'll also explore Turtle Town, and admire native birds. Two water slides, a glass bottom viewing room, and a "leap of faith" are also available if you don't want to snorkel or finish early. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, soda, and juice are included.

The staff is outstanding!! They were friendly, energetic and helpful the entire time. Definitely take cash to tip them at the end. I did not bring enough to express my appreciation. Mokilini was awesome. Turtle town was a bit rougher waters and still saw lots of fish but not a turtle. That was disappointing, but certainly no fault of the Calypso. We ended up seeing turtles right over the wall at the harbor wall when we got back!

The entire crew was phenomenal and took great care of everyone. This snorkeling trip far exceeded my expectations because of all the amenities on board. They really and truly thought of EVERYTHING for their guests. The food choices were great there was plenty to eat! I got sick, not their fault but they had ginger chews for me! They had reef safe sunscreen, go pro rentals, noodles, flotation belts, etc. The picture package offered by Marley was AMAZING! We saw different schools of fish and turtles!!! Marley captured great shots! You will love him and his prices were very very fair! Book your trip with Calypso, you won't regret it.

This was one of the best trips out I've ever done on holiday, very well organised and the snorkeling location is just incredible, so so clear. You always felt safe on the boat and in the water. Lovely to see one of the staff helping a person with a disability in the water. Couldn't do the stop at turtle town because the water was murky, I was gutted but one popped up on the surface just before we docked back at port so that was enough! Beautiful snorkeling at the crater tho, and the flying fish en route were amazing! Food provided was plenty for both breakfast and lunch though the veggie option was vegan and was frankly awful- but that was the only - and a minor- issue. Cocktails v reasonably priced. Photos were hilarious of us so didnt buy them- but clearly a decent photographer. We booked this whilst on the Pride of America, got a cab to the smaller port for 50 dollars.
