Came to the Kenai with friends and no fly fishing experience. Both JJ and Matt made the trip epic for a first timer. I learned and caught big fish at the same time. We had great laughs and really enjoyed the time on the river. I totally recommend booking with Kenai River Trout Anglers.

This was my first trip to the Kenai, and my first time fly fishing experience. JJ and Matt were fantastic. They made every day fun and exciting!!! We hooked so many large rainbows and dollys all 3 days!!!! It was an incredible experience. JJ and his team have a client for life!!!!! If anyone is thinking of making this trip…. Call JJ!!!! You won’t find a better guide on this river!

Matt was a great guide, and we had a great time along the Kenai. Whilst we didnt catch that much, we still were able to snag a couple of small trouts. The scenery along the Kenai is stunning, and the boat ride itself was fun and we really enjoyed our day out.
