My husband and I had been to the Everglades before, but not like this. Don was our guide, and he was excellent. His knowledge of the Everglades and wildlife in general was amazing. We learned so much and it gave me an entirely new appreciation for the Everglades. Do expect to get a little wet and dirty, but it's so worth it. Being inside a cypress dome and seeing alligators, birds, fish, and snakes was truly wonderful. The kayaking was great too, and the sunset over Florida Bay was likely one of the most beautiful I've ever seen. I highly recommend this tour and I hope we get to go back someday!

Our group of seven had a great time in the Everglades with our guide Don. He was friendly and extremely knowledgable. We saw several interesting plant and animal species, kayaked in the mangroves, and capped off the adventure with a wine toast to a beautiful sunset and a great day. We had to drive quite a distance to make this trip fit into our vacation, and we are glad we did! We also had a 9 and 11 year old along who would tell you this one is fun for kids too!

Spent a day slogging thru a cyprus dome in the Everglades and saw numerous species including the alligator's habitat. This was a real experience in a natural habitat. The kayaking was exhilarating but long, not for the faint of heart or strength, teens or above ok, as it was a good 3 hr kayak in open water. Don is a fountain of knowledge and an expert guide and terrific photographer. I would reccomend this to anyone wanting to get close to nature where you are the guest into nature's home and not a contrived zoo expererience.
