Our trip with Garl was nothing short of AMAZING. We had no idea what to expect, but the slough slogging was an experience like no other. Heading into the water, which was several inches above our knees, was a bit scary at first but the excitement of the adventure outweighed our fears! Garl was extremely knowledgeable about all of the foliage, insects, spiders, birds, snakes and gators. He has a keen eye for detecting any animals that might be found. We then headed for saltwater kayaking out of Flamingo and ate our lunch on the road. Loading up the kayaks, we saw manatees and gators in the marina, then headed out for the open water. We saw more birds than we could count and Garl identified all of them. We were surrounded by a LOT of lemon sharks which was super exciting. We headed back to the marina in the sunset which was amazing as we were paddling to the west. It was an incredible adventure and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Everglades. Best tour we have ever experienced by a long shot.

This was an amazing experience. If you are planning a trip to the Florida Everglades I highly recommend you book this tour with Garl's. We had six in our family group and everyone loved the tour. You really get to experience all the wonderful things the Everglades have to offer. If you only have one day to visit the Everglades book this tour!

We had an incredible time with Garl, who was very knowledgeable about the Everglades and familiar with the area. Felt lucky to get to actually get INTO nature - walking around in the water was super cool! Although the weather did not cooperate with us, Garl still made the tour memorable and we learned a lot. Thank you!
