Many of the innovative gardens are models of drought-tolerance and showcase native and adapted plants that thrive in Western gardens. Throughout the Gardens, the time-honored traditions of European horticulture merge with a dynamic diversity of plants and design that represent the best in horticultural achievement.

I was visiting my brother in Denver last week and one of the places I wanted to visit was the Botanic Gardens. It was a beautiful spring day and there were so many things in bloom that it was a joyful way to spend the morning meandering through the different areas of this garden

Growing up in San Francisco and working in Golden Gate Park I can tell you I have seen world-class gardens. Well, Colorado owns one as well in the Denver Botanic Gardens. Truly a beautiful learning experience for all. We went in July and plan on going this Fall, Winter, and Spring. They have what seems like a Global presentation of all plants, trees, flowers, and shrubs from all Four Corners. The presentation is breathtaking. They have places you can sit and capture your surroundings via canvas, or photography. Want to have lunch well you can bring your own or dine at one of their food outlets. Plenty of trails to give yourself a tour. Each offering comes with plenty of info to tell you its name, origin, and other information. Plenty to see do and learn. You can go for one hour or one day it's up to you. FREE parking to be had across the street.

The schedules are not updated, I come this morning for the opening at 9:00 as specified on the site to visit the park before my flight this afternoon but it is privatized for the morning! Disappointed by this lack of information
