We recently took this amazing helicopter tour with our adult children and teenage grandson. Being a group of 5, we had to split into 2 helicopters. Our pilots, Christian and Levi, were fun to be with and very informative. We were well spaced away from each other and they were in constant communication. It was so much fun to be able to take pictures of each other's heli flying in the distance. Due to Girdwood being so close to several glaciers you are almost immediately flying over beautfiul scenery. We flew over the Knik Glacier and others. We landed on the same glacier so we were able to get family photos taken. It was a beautiful day and the scenery was absolutely sunning! We had landed on a glacier in Juneau years ago, and also in New Zealand. But this was by far the best location for a helicopter landing. We flew over much more varied terrain that had streams, blue pools, and that amazing blue ice! And one group even saw a black bear and mountain goat. The landing was very gentle and we had a good amount of time to walk around, take photos, and take in the beauty. I would add that we also took a plane over Denali with a glacier landing and I do not regret doing both. It was totally different as it is covered with snow, but equally amazing due to the size of the mountains and glaciers in Denali. You will not regret taking this tour!

The landing and got to drink the glacier water. Got to see the black bear , moose . The ride was smooth and really fun! Thank you to the pilot that very knowledgeable .

My daughter and I had a lifetime experience taking this helicopter_ glacier landing tour.I will never forget the scenery around and walking on the glaciers for a while! Scott, our pilot was excellent!
