Grand Canyon Railway Adventure Package
Great train station package!
It is on the national registry of historic places.
You can stay at the hotel, catch a train to the Grand Canyon and watch an old west shoot out show.
It is in walking distance of Historic shops and restaurants on Route 66 and the train ride has the Polar Express ride for Christmas time and year round rides to and from the Grand Canyon.
There is an alcohol bar and little bites served in the morning and on your return. There is also a mini cafe on the train and at least in our section (we sat first class), we got a champagne toast on our return from the Grand Canyon.
Be sure to keep a weary eye for bandits to raid the train on your return trip (look out your right side windows on your return trip to see the bandits riding in on horseback). Also, you get live music performances to and from the Williams Depot and the Grand Canyon Depot.
We sat in the best seats, the caboose, next to the bar and it was awesome! The seats are actually sectional couches that are very comfy with many pillows to lay out on and lots of leg room and was well worth the extra cost of first class. I suggest you pay the extra fee and get the caboose. It has a better view. Outside access and near the bar.
