The train can accommodate a motorized scooter if it is no wider than 25 inches. There is a special lift to lift the scooter onto the train.
Please note: Arizona doesn't observe Day Light Savings and switches between MST (Mountain Standard Time) and PST (Pacific Standard Time) depending on the season.

Please ensure 1 person per group wait in line for ticket exchange. Face masks will be highly recommended. Social distancing will be practiced on train platform and on the train. Seating on board the train will be limited to maximize social distancing, and guests will be asked to promptly take their seat keeping aisles clear and to remain seated except to use restrooms.

So much better than driving to the Canyon. Especially with a cold, snowy day like the one we had. Staff was very helpful - especially Paul who was the attendant in our car. They give an overview on what to do while you’re at the Canyon but be sure to ask questions as they’ll give you good tips for your party. Arrive early because the Cowboy show starts 30 minutes before departure time. We have two little kids and a teenager and they all loved the ride. The amount of time at GC Village was perfect for our family. We made reservations ahead of time at El Tovar. Highly recommend as food options are limited. Those that tried to do walk-in spent too much time waiting and it took away from their trip. Cafe car doesn’t really have meals so you’ll want to eat before you leave and at the Village. Highly recommend this trip.

My family and I really enjoyed our experience riding to/from the Grand Canyon. Overall our experience was superb, and it was evident that the operation's managers put a lot of thought into providing a great guest experience –– from live music to light refreshments to the car conductor providing facts, it was a lovely day!

We had the time of a lifetime!! Absolutely not one complaint. We road coach to the canyon a d took the luxury car for the trip back. Our host had the most extraordinary attitude and hilarious laugh!! she made the trip a pleasure
