That's my first time I made a tour to the Grand Canyon. As far as scenary and landscapes go, the tour was terrific and remarkable. However, the arrangement for the helicopter, & boat rides and skywalk admidst the local shuttle bus transportation ,was really bad. In my case, I took part in the helicopter, boat and skywalk tours on the same day. We had to watch the shuttle bus schedules during the point to point visits in the Canyon so that we would not miss the bus. Otherwise we would not be able to make it back to the Strip at the end of the day. For each of the activities including helicopter & boat rides, sightseeing at prime scenic spots there's virtually insufficient time to have a good enjoyment. It was a rush all along. It's so rush that the lunch was missed so that the bus would not be missed. I think the lunch could still be picked up at the end point if it was missed before during the tour. Most of the time during the tour was wasted in lining up. The worst lining up was at the Skywalk. It was outdoor when waiting in the line to go in the Skywalk. The temperature was so low and the wind was so bad one of my friend got sick because of the long wait in coldness. Time given to stay at each scenic spot was too short. To be honest, it was not enjoyable as far as activities and transportation arrangement concern. I don't feel the money I spent worthy. If the above described situation is a norm at Grand Canyon, tourists should be given advise, warning or suggestion as to what precaution or preparation they should take or consider before hand.
