It's interesting, but the Ryman is a better tour and more history. It felt more like a money funnel with the location directly next to the Opry Mills Mall and Gaylord resort. We went in the afternoon, and had ticket to the Grand Ole Opry Christmas show later that evening, so we walked to the Gaylord to go through the resort and possible purchase tickets to the ice sculptures. As we approached, guards were out preventing anyone from entering. We walked up and they said, "you need a ticket". Had to ask what kind, and they stated any purchased event inside. I told the guard that it wasn't his doing, but it would've been nice to have this on the web site - he rudely stately, "page two". I did look, and no, it is not obvious, and you would need to know you were looking for that informations. Bad taste for sure, and poor sports.. As far as I know, these are all (Gaylord, Opry Mall, Grand Ole Opry) businesses all related to each other.
