Sierra picked me up promptly at 6:40 and handed me my breakfast burrito (I chose sausage, egg, and cheese). We picked up a few others and had a total of seven tourists. We fit very comfortably in the van. Sierra added interesting info along the way and pointed out areas where we had a good chance of seeing wildlife (we saw bison and a moose with calf along the lake). The trip across Jenny Lake and hiking up the mountain was awesome. We saw incredible sights and waterfalls! There were varied ages included and some wanted to hike up to Inspiration Point while others didn’t. I surprised myself and made it to the very top (I’m a senior), almost five miles on rocky terrain. It was a great day!!

This trip is a must if you are visiting this area. Our guide Sierra was great and very committed to making sure we saw lots of wildlife and took great care of us. We saw two black bears, a bold eagle, an Osprey and lots of Bison. The boat trip on Jenny Lake and the hike to Hidden falls and Inspiration point was definitely worth the effort. Lunch by the river was delicious and we had plenty of bathroom breaks (although some of the outhouse bathrooms were a little unpleasant and did not have running water). The trip starts at 7a.m. which is a little early for some people so be prepared for that and the vehicle was also a little cramped but the breathtaking scenery was worth it. Overall, I am so glad we did this.
