The trip was excellent! The tour was amazing. The stories learned that day were both emotional and heartbreaking, but yet informative. There were so many artifacts that made that day so memorable. I'm really glad I got to experience it.
I felt very fool by the advertisement about this museum. It is NOT the big new national museum at Ground Zero; it is somewhere else in Manhattan. It is NOT at or near the 9/11 memorial site. I think the name is misleading. I was at ground zero at the national memorial fountain pools and wanted to see the official memorial museum. This is not it and they will not refund your tickets no matter what.
This was an intimate, moving, experience from a participant's view. The artifacts, photos and spoken account was very moving. If you want to roam through a big, boring, impersonal museum, this is NOT for you. It IS however, for anyone who wants to see and hear a personal, first hand account of the event.
