This was to be one of the highlights of my birthday trip to the island and they did not disappoint. We were treated to a rare killer whale hunting experience. The captain and guide worked very hard to get us to the spot of about 10 Orcas hunting a male sea lion. Because this was a unique experience we ended staying out longer than planned so we could watch from beginning to end. While it was a bit tough to know that the sea lion was going to lose the battle, it was something I will never forget. An amazing show of nature. Thank you.

Hi Jane! Thanks for taking the time to share your experience, and for sharing your Birthday with us! It's pretty thrilling to encounter whales during their feeding activities. You never know what you'll come across on one of our trips but it's bound to be exciting and eye opening!

This was worth every penny we spent. The captain and the guide were the best. Didn't hurt we had a beautiful day when we went out. The guide was super sweet but more than that she was very knowledgeable about the area, the whales and pretty much all marine life we saw. Don't think there was one question she couldn't answer. We saw 3 different whale pods! One Orca breached twice!! The 3rd pod was amazing there were 7 whales and they were showing out this day. This crew took extra time to show us 2 different areas with seals ,birds and sea lions!! I would do this again! GREAT CREW!!
