Captain Dan and his wife Denise made our Orcas whale watching trip a most wonderful experience. The owners and crew are very knowledgeable - not only did we see tons of Orcas whales but we also learned a lot about their behavior, their feeding habits and migration patterns. All in all a great memorable experience that we can recommend to everyone who comes to see the Orcas in their natural habitat. Their boat is also equipped with a hydrophone- so you get to listen to the whales communicating with each other. We had so much fun that we actually went twice!!!

My husband and I bought a groupon for this whale watching tour and boy did it over deliver!! Dan and crew were super friendly and knowledgable! Not only did we get to see whales, seals, sea lions, jellyfish, and Corsican goats- we got to spend a good hour plus following the whales as they played and foraged for salmon- great tour great people- it is a must!!

We loved our whale watching experience with Orcas Island Eclipse Charters. The staff was exceptionally well-organized and competent, from the moment we called to book our trip until we were dropped off at the ferry terminal after an excellent day on the water. We investigated a number of companies and decided on Eclipse Charters because of their reasonable rate and friendly manner. Their boat is in excellent condition and provides ample indoor and outdoor viewing space. Most importantly, we spent the entire trip with the Orcas who were fishing and breaching in the water around our boat. We also saw two bald eagles and a large group of sealions. The captain and naturalists were knowledgeable and respectful of the animals and their environment, and served as a great resource for information about the area. Highest recommendations!
