Enjoy a close, personal encounter with the West Indian Manatee as you snorkel with them under the guidance of a U.S. Coast Guard Licensed Captain. Our small group (no more than six guests) tours are conducted daily in the beautiful Crystal River National Wildlife Refuge. Get up close and personal with these amazing mammals and learn about the ecosystem and their habitat.

Unlike many tours, these Captains will actually swim with you and your group to ensure that you have a memorable experience. While in the water, your captain/tour guide will take high-definition photos and videos of you and your group which you will be able to view and purchase at the end of your trip.

Your price includes all snorkeling equipment (mask, snorkel, wetsuit) and complimentary coffee or hot cocoa.

Guests with limited mobility are welcome, but must call us to make prior arrangements
Single travelers may be required to change time or date of tour depending upon availability
Use of a ladder is required to get into/out of the water. Please give us a call if you have any health related questions.

The guide took me aside then led me to a spot where I could watch a manatee nursing her calf. That was worth the whole trip!

We absolutely loved it! Captain Ron and Lauren know exactly what they are doing. The both of them have a lot of knowledge and respect for the animals. We were in a small group of 4, just our family. It was so much better compared to having a large group with other tour groups. Lauren was very direct and made sure we had the best experience with the manatees. I loved that Lauren captured photos of us with the manatees underwater so we could enjoy ourselves and not worry about getting a good shot. Yes we had to pay to keep the photos and videos but it’s totally worth it! Lauren took excellent pictures. Grandma didn’t get in the water but she told us she had a great time chatting with Captain Ron on the boat and seeing the manatees cute little noses come up for air. This tour was definitely one of the books! Thank you Captain Ron and Lauren for such a wonderful experience.

This tour was simply the best experience of my life. As a marine biology major, I was hoping to learn a lot through this experience. My expectations were exceeded! Lauren was so helpful, patient, and informative about the manatees and surrounding environment. Ron was extremely nice and smoothly got us to our destinations while being personable and informative about what would happen during the trip. They each made sure we were having fun and got the most out of the trip. We saw so many manatees, even baby ones! Lauren made sure everyone stayed safe and emgaged. This was an amazing tour and I would 100% go again!
